Today Mr Neapolitan escaped my mind.
Mr Neapolitan is an ice-cream salesman. I know he doesn’t sound bad. Of all my fictional characters to escape my mind he’d would probably be your first choice, he always has ice-cream.
But Mr Neapolitan has a dark side. When I created Mr Neapolitan I needed someone who wasn’t what he seemed. I needed a two-faced character, someone that would help my main character and later destroy my main character.
But I don’t know how.
Mr Neapolitan is basically a placeholder, likeable, close to my main character, but ultimately evil.
And now escaped. If I had finished the story, maybe I’d know what he’s up to, but I never got that far.
